Otto Rieve, B.Comm., C.A.

Otto was in the audit practice of Chartered Accountancy firms and has many years experience providing services to a broad base of business and institutions as a CA partner. In 2001 Otto retired from a 10-partner CA firm located in Vancouver, British Columbia and now seeks engagements as Accountant, Business Counsellor, or Executive for Hire.

Service to the profession: Otto has given back to his profession by taking an active role in professional affairs.

Community affairs:Otto is active in community affairs including the Rotary service club and in multi-cultural organizations. Service included the presidency of the Rotary Club of Richmond; various committees, chairmanships and officer positions in Rotary District 5040; president of the German Canadian Business Association; and member and president of ethnic and multicultural organizations.

Directorships: Formerly member and Chair of the Board of Directors of Edelweiss Credit Union and former Vice-Chair of Prospera Credit Union. He has been variously a director or officer of a TSE Venture company and a biotechnology company. 
As a director or officer, Otto assists start-ups or companies in the IPO stage.  He advises on Corporate Governance and Risk Management.
